Humblebee Soap bars are carefully handcrafted in small batches using pure nature-based ingredients. We begin with bases such as pure Italian olive oil, coconut oil and sustainably harvested palm oil. Olive oil is one of the most mild, conditioning oils for the skin. Coconut oil creates an amazing lather and contains conditioning nutrition for your skin. Sustainable palm oils are harvested with concern for the wild life that depends on the palm for food and habitat. It also creates a longer lasting harder bar of soap.

Why are handcrafted soaps better than commercial brands?

Cold Process soap is soap in its purest form. Its an ancient art that combines art and science. Did you know that even though Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is used to combine and saponify (make into soap) oils that there is no lye in a finished bar of soap? Chemical changes occur that turn it all into soap. This process also creates glycerin. Glycerin is a naturally occurring humectant in handcrafted soaps. Humectants attract and retain moisture into your skin, just like lotion. Most commercial soap companies strip their soap of glycerin to be used in "more profitable" cosmetic products. HumbleBees Soaps retain all that natural glycerin for the most hydrating soap for your skin.
